Unfortunately, the Cubs got no love in the uniform department. Personally I wish they would just remove the 1902 Home/Road uni's that are blank. Really no point in them.

So many other cool Cubs that would instantly be put in the rotation....I’d love some baby blue striped late 70’s-early 80’s roads (mainly, because Ryno was wearing these on 2 of his 3 rookie cards and he’s my all time favorite player) and the “CUBA” looking roads and Blue 94-98 unis.

Also it wasnt in the video due to Strahm wearing long pants, but Padres have their new brown Stance socks in as well (It's been shown in the one of the trailers)

I am super excited about this because I had to switch all the players who wore stance socks off previously because the blue socks with brown jerseys were just such an eyesore.

According to Cujo in the Q&A thread those hats are in the game. They are probably hiding under the cap option

I don’t think so. If I remember right, the whole problem with adding this individual hat with the same road jersey as the red hat is that it wouldn’t have its own jersey/pants to match with. SDS adds full jersey combos, and gives us the option to mix and match. So just adding the blue hat, no matter how integral we (it hurts my brain that they don’t add it) think it is, they never will under the current roster slot structure.

FWIW, I hope I am wayyyy off on this. I just remember this conversation taking place last year and that being the answer.

I am super excited about this because I had to switch all the players who wore stance socks off previously because the blue socks with brown jerseys were just such an eyesore.

Adding to this, there are a number of teams with alternate Stance socks that have been added to what they had in 18 (Brewers, Padres) and it appears the Stance socks are often turned off when selecting a throwback but not always.

If you pair it with the pants from the red jersey they’ll have red socks. The accessories and undershirt will still be blue.

The Rangers are getting new uniforms next year to coincide with their new ballpark, so it’s hopefully the last year with this issue.

Really cool that the 1993 Expos home and roads are in. I’m in year 2024 of my continuing franchise and if I can find a good enough minor league stadium or classic stadium to suspended reality the Nationals might be “moving back” to Montreal for the 6 or 7 games I’ll play them.
