None of the jerseys I wanted are in the game and they don't let you edit jerseys. Won't be buying.

Looking at the list of added/removed, no Indians red tops? If so that sucks. They were unveiled months ago. And they got the new blue tops in. Hope they made it and the person who posted just made an oversight.

I've heard a lot of reason why people aren't buying the game, but because it doesn't include some obscure jersey... that takes the cake.

It depends on how you play the Show? I only play with classic rosters... 80's or earlier so jerseys are quite important to me. In fact I too may pass on this years game just for that reason. I was hoping to get early 70's Pirates, 70's Cubs and 84 Padres. Last year was nice to see the addition of 70's Reds and Expos. I was just hoping they continued with similar additions this year.

Which jerseys are you holding out for?

And editable jerseys usable in all modes would be a great incentive to buy in upcoming years. Hopefully it happens eventually.


Both the current red alt and red seventies throwback Indians jerseys are in the game according their Youtube video. No Wahoo caps though and I think it's going a bit far to erase those from the game.

That's ridiculous. They were worn with those specific throwbacks.

As far as Chief Wahoo, yeah it sucks to remove it from the classic unis, but I get where they could receive some PC backlash.

I’m actually in the same boat. I don’t play enough of the Show to warrant a new purchase when it looks and plays about 99% the same. 18 is still a solid game, and we can just download rosters. If they had added mid 90s Astros unis, I would have purchased it so I can play with 94 historic rosters. But they didn’t, which I understand, but that’s all I really wanted from this years game.

Said this in another thread but this kind of thing doesn't surprise me with the low-key upgrades the series is getting these days. 19 is not gonna play radically differently from 18 so little things like jerseys will matter than much more to those of us who care about them.


It's especially ridiculous after they made a big deal about adding the Major League Indians jerseys last year. I'm sure it's not Sony San Diego's decision however.

I’m almost positive it isn’t their choice. That being said, I know it makes everyone mad but as a half Sioux man, I’m fine with Wahoo being gone forever.

I'm actually not opposed to retiring Wahoo but it seems a bit extreme to completely disappear an iconic logo (for better or worse) that's been in use for over half a century and was a team's primary logo just a few months ago. The Show will essentially have to ignore several decades of Indians jerseys if they can't use Wahoo for their TBTC's. They can't even accurately recreate the Cubs-Indians 2016 WS 'Moment' they hyped before release.

DBacks and Reds also have alternate caps that are hiding under the cap only option
