Yep, I’ve taken off for the first two days of March Madness every year since I graduated college 10 years ago. “A tradition unlike any other” as Jim Nantz would say.
I think the days of taking off for a video game release are behind me. Maybe if I get to the point where I have 4+ weeks of vacation, it might be an option.

Yeah not to boast but I get 6 weeks of vacation plus family days
Family days are when I spend a night out of town due to work then I get a paid day off to spend with family.

I can't, but Spring Break is coming up. My wife has surgery Wednesday morning. It’s actually a very minor surgery so she’s only going to be down for a couple days. I told her I was taking off Tuesday through Friday just to make sure she’s okay getting around and all [emoji6]

38 yr old here...usually try to take the day after release day off. Can’t take a whole day off this year but I’m leaving work early tmrw afternoon to squeeze in some Show. I’ll be a little sleepy eyed tmrw at work bc I did digital download this year and it’s downloaded and ready to play at 11 pm CT tonight. Gonna try to get 1 or 2 games in tonight!Comment

I’m normally off on Tuesdays so I’m all set tomorrow. I do wake up at 2:30 AM for work on Wed though so it 100% will not be an all-nighter for me. BTW I turn 50 in November.

switched my usual remote days this week from monday to tuesday.... pushed all meetings on tuesday to wednesday. yup... 36yr old manager priorities!

Every year my brother and I take a week off for opening day for actual baseball so it's good The Show and baseball starts on the same week[emoji3]. Excited for tomorrow and nervous/excited for Thursday, go Jays go!!
