Yeah yours should load just fine. I've done it plenty while being in the middle of a season.

Well , I know it should but it doesn't , I am not getting it. It just keeps saying failed to apply data or load is failed need to complete season, I have completed season, duh confused here.

I guess I am too old to understand but I have already completed the 2018 season and I am halfway through the 2019 season, it shouldn't matter I started the 2019 season and should be able to finish it. All my other saves were the beginning of 2019 and they loaded, I guess i just don't get it,

Something has definitely gone wrong here because what you are trying to do carry over a MLB 18 created RTTS player in the middle of the 2019 season is no different than one of my RTTS save files that I was able to port over into MLB 19.

You need to contact SDS. Hopefully there is some sort of resolution.

Exactly, will do

You could try duplicating the save in MLB 18, I.E. load up that save then hit “new save.”

Then try bring the new save to MLB 19

This might be due to the fact that affiliation changes have not been processed. Was your Astros RttS player created in 17 initially? Bringing a player from 17 to 18 and then to 19, may run into issues, if you do not complete a season, or spring training, or even a calendar year.

Would you mind doing me a favor or two?

1. Simulate or play, until the season ends and try bringing him over.
2. If that does not work, then would you mind if I got your PSN Name, so we can find you?

Please try #1, before going to #2.

Just read this , My RTTS player was created in MLB18 so you know, so to tried your idea, I went back and simulated the 2019 season in 18 , then saved and moved it to cloud. Then I went into 19 and tried to load which was successful, my only complaint is I shouldn't of had to do this jumping through hoops to just do a transfer. Anyway I was able to play in 19 with my Astros RTTS player. Thanks for taking the time to help, I have been transferring over RTTS players ever since it was made available for the Show and have never had a problem before

I thought I could port in the middle of a season and that was the fun of it you could continue that's what happened last year in 18? I fast forward to then saved it and sent it to the cloud successfully and still couldn't get transferred/ATTACH]20190326_215724.jpg

I had this problem as well.

I've found that the easiest and fastest solution is to Sim the entire current regular season and off season and save your game at the start of the next year's spring training or regular season in MLB The Show 18. Was able to transfer my character from 18 to 19

This will screw over your career stat, but if you don't care about the stats then you should use this method.

Seems I'll have to go back to 18 and play a season there first as I'm getting the same error.

I never played 18. Literally just imported my 17 player into 18 a month back and was hoping I can just move him into 19.

Seems not. Will do one season on 18 and then move onto 19.

Finished my MLB 18 season year 2025. Lost in round 1 of the playoffs then signed an 11 year deal with the Mets. Ported over to 19 just fine.

Now to figure out what archetype to select. My guy is already stacked from years past of MLB RTTS carry over saves etc.

Hmmmmm.

Started my career in MLB 14 and have carried it over every year. Played more some years than others. But over all I’ve had a blast.
