KT, the only thing I'm still not understanding is that I have posted videos. I'm doing it to show what framerate tests I'm doing. So far, the ones I have measured are down below (top number says how many frames it takes on average before you get a duplicated frame):
SPRING TRAINING STADIUM
- new frame/dup: --
- avg. framerate: 59.94 FPS (perfect)
CHASE FIELD
- new frame/dup: 199.7
- avg. framerate: 59.64 FPS
FENWAY PARK
- new frame/dup: 20.9
- avg. framerate: 57.21 FPS
SUNTRUST PARK
- new frame/dup: 11.4
- avg. framerate: 55.10 FPS
ORIOLE PARK
- new frame/dup: 9.3
- avg. framerate: 54.13 FPS
WRIGLEY FIELD
- new frame/dup: 6.8
- avg. framerate: 52.25 FPS
YANKEE STADIUM
- new frame/dup: 6.5
- avg. framerate: 51.94 FPS
I'll continue more when able, but I want to be adamant that there is a framerate discrepancy per ballpark. How "unplayable" it is for others is of course going to be subjective, and while I don't think it's unplayable I do think it should looked into and be addressed. That's why I believe this thread exists, and should remain existing (plus the data I'm collecting).
