Really so you came to a thread that is dedicated to people who have the issue to tell us that some are just crying and others are trying to figure out how to fix a GAME they did not make. So now we are customers and problem fixes for games. Come on now stop the BS and let people who are having issues vent. If you want to do your glorious feedback and the silky smooth version with no issues you received go to the impressions thread. Am sure you will get plenty of praise and hoopla over there.



Nobody here can fix an issue that is tied to the console and game development. Stop it

Bro u have been on several threads angry, get over yourself, u voiced your displeasure and every comment u make is just to complain and promote your apparent agenda...... people are in here actually trying to be helpful and you’re in the back pouting........ sit down somewhere with your bs and let people have productive convos, if the game is that bad sell it and move along so u don’t have to walk around mad at everyone else

I think xxgamerxx is just trying to convey it's an issue with the game code and not the TVs. You may be able to lessen the problem with certain TV or console settings, but the core issue will remain.

It's probably the crowd.. shadows from the sun.. somebody said after the sun went down the framerate stabilized.

Why are you on this thread after complaining that framerate issues were made up by people every year at release and this thread was created for those. So you decide to come police here to? Go back to where is all fun and smooth in the impressions thread. SCEA should know what the issue is and is not only on a few peoples game. We all have the same game so the issue is in every game..If you are not seeing it then great for you but it does not mean is not there because you did not get a different copy then the many here having the issue.

You go and talk in the impressions thread and do not try and tell us here how we should vent. Nobody is being disrespectful but you are being condescending with your holy how people always complain about things that are not true agenda.

Every year there’s a group of guys that get on this frame rate train and harp on it till they’re blue in the face, I’m convinced some buy the game to look for a gripe to ramp about on OS and Twitter

Yup... just to confirm the fr is officially f’d for now balanced played like butter last year from the start of I remember correctly. Balanced looks like Sharper imo

Yeah, the option is only available on the Pro.

Also, can we please try to keep this thread focused on the actual issue and not bickering back and forth? I’m honestly not sure why those who aren’t having the issue are even posting here. We get it; it’s not affecting everyone, or at least not noticeable to everyone. Meanwhile, it IS affecting a lot of people, so let’s just focus on hopefully finding any common denominators until SDS can address this in a patch.

I'm definitely having framerate issues and it's a little shocking these weren't identified and fixed before launch. I hope they'll patch it soon. I'm on a PS4 Pro and 4K tv, but am playing in Faster/1080p mode. There's no reason this should be happening. Almost anytime I get a hit to the outfield there is screen tearing and framerate drops.

I deleted the game from my hard drive. I updated my PS4 with the newest update, which also re-built my database (I also tried this separately a few days ago and had no luck). I then re-installed MLB '19. I played a quick few innings, and I'm still having the same issues.

The only other thing I can think of to try that some here have recommended is to maybe turn my internet off before I boot the game up?

I wish I knew more about the tech behind all of this 4K/HDR stuff haha. From what I can tell, those of us having issues are all playing on a PS4 Pro and a 4K TV. And like I keep mentioning, MLB '18 played silky smooth for me using the exact same settings.

I think there are enough of us having these problems to say there's definitely an issue here. For those of you not having any framerate issues, enjoy the hell out of this game because it plays a great game of baseball (from my short experience playing it thus far). For those of us having issues, hopefully there's word from Sony soon and it gets resolved. Honestly...I'm not expecting that to happen which is a bummer. But I'll do my best to still play and wait out a remedy for this issue. It does play really well, it's just too much of an eyesore sometimes. It's affecting hitting in certain parks, and in those parks the framerate gets so choppy on fly balls to the outfield that it almost hurts my eyes.
