Ok this needs to be addressed because far to many people are suggesting things that have ZERO to do with the issue.
Here are a few examples
1. The version of the show you have has ZERO to do with the issue as the issue is on every single version of the game. Those that say they are getting a flawless version are either trolling or just not sensitive to the issue but if you play their version you will see the same issue from your perspective
2. The tv/monitor you have has ZERO to do with the issues of fps drops in the game. This is tied to the game/console as fps drops are all about the gpu and cpu of the console which to me for this game the PRO is terribly under powered. It does not matter if you play on a 4k tv or monitor or 1080p monitor or tv the issue will still be there
3. I cannot speak for the base ps4 as this is only for PS4 PRO. Perhaps those on the base ps4 are getting a great experience but it does not apply to the PRO
4. The issue is mostly on fly balls to the outfield and it seems to be the new dynamic camera being pulled back that is hurting the fps as it now shows more on screen which the PRO cannot handle. That is just my uneducated guess but playing on retro camera or broadcast lessens the issue but that is not a fix as the only camera I like is Dynamic
5. Rebuilding the database is not a fix for FPS drops, that only would help a laggy menu in the OS and has no bearing on FPS drops in the game which again is tied to the game/pro console capabilities.
I am willing to bet $100 that in any mode faster/balanced/sharper the game ever reaches 60fps. Last year on faster mode it was a lot smoother than faster this year which is a mess at times and looks horrible. The game has zero AA which causes jaggies all around the objects and player models and broken foul lines. These are all indications that the hardware is not up to snuff for this game. PS5 please come soon
Will I say the game is not playable? No I will not but it should not be acceptable either
