    Franchise Player Progression

In my Franchise I have House rules to follow to make the game realistic as possible because of progression system is broken, I do not cheat for myself.

I edit players attributes based on performances throughout the year and potential as well. If a player makes All star game in either Minor leagues or Majors I bump his potential up one letter or at least a B if he’s in a “D” or lower

Player of the months I give the player +4 in all respective categories, if a player finishes the season at an elite level, I will give +8 in respective stats same goes with if a player does really poor I subtract -6 All stats. If a player has consecutive bad years I bump his potential down a grade or two depending on how bad.

If a player is 32+ years of age, I cancel all the regression if he has good year

I am curious of what you guys do in your franchise and think of my system.

Sounds like a good idea. Do you do that with all 30 teams? That would be a lot of work.

I do player of the months which isn’t much as well as players make All Stars. But before when you advance to Postseason , I check all 30 team rosters and edit players on MLB roster who did good or bad and I just look at each teams minor leaguers to see if they made all star and adjust their POT

Interesting idea - hadnt really thought of doing my own edits before, but would be preferred for sure if you want to make sure your chise is as controlled as possible.
