Re: MLB The Show 19 Reporting Bugs

after the recent patch the guess pitch is a little off, before patch when u would guess the location of the pitch it would show if u guessed right before the pitch was thrown, now it shows after the pitch is thrown which makes guessing the pitch useless. please put guess pitch back the way it was before the patch. this throws off our approach to the plate and with the new pitch speeds we need the guess pitch back to the way it was pre patch. Please Fix.

This has happened twice in the last 24 hours. Pop up behind home plate, catcher doesn't move, but the pitcher runs all the way from the mound to the backstop to make the play.

My RH batter was hit in the shoulder with a slider and the announcers and the fielders acted like it was a passed ball. My two baserunners could have advanced if they were not already on 2nd and 3rd.

Not really a bug perhaps but after the game Darry Strawberry was selected as player of the game against the Mets.

Only thing is.....Darryl is playing for my 96 Yankees so he's shown wearing the wrong uniform.
Same happens every now and then when watching the new animated line up screen.
I can live with it, but feels just a bit sloppy.

Or is the game trying to tell me that Darryl is really a Mets player :P

That DH gets kicked out and the pitcher is forced in. The player can adjust it back in the pre-game lineup screen, but it's happening to the CPU as well.

Just faced Boston where they had their ace batting leadoff despite having at or near zero batting attributes and 14 speed.

My franchise is carryover and AL as well and it’s kicking out the RF in mine. Also happens to both user and CPU.

My highest rated guy is my #2 pitcher so I wonder if that’s why mine plays RF and not DH.

Have you figured out when it occurs? ie: the game after he pitches, or only day games.

Not sure if mentioned or not yet, but in RTTS I notice 2 things.

              1. In relationship screen, it says games played but I think it should be days spent on team with that player. I am assuming.

              2. In July 2019, I am third in batting average at .310 in the Texas league and I have enough eligible at bats, but it does not show me in the league leaders. I know I have the at bats, I have more than the 2 players above me. I show up correctly near the top in hits, doubles, HR, and RBIs correctly as those are not at bat based. I would hate to win the Texas league batting crown and have the eligible at bats but it not show I did.

It's based on the number of plate appearances (3.1/game). I'm guessing you walk less than the simulated computer players, so are you qualifying in that regard as well?

I might just be enforcing semantics too much when you said at bats instead of plate appearances, but make sure you qualify in that regard as well.

Yeah... I knew that. Just didn't think about it until you said it. Guess I was just bummed I didn't see my name up there lol

Has anyone seen how many 1-1 counts you get? I never get 3-0 or 0-2. I have had 1-1 for 5 out of 6 batters. I never see 2-0. I never see 1-0. WTF is going on with MLB. these guys who play the game think that is real to see 5 out of 6 batters get a 1-1 count

                      1. In RTTS if you have a challenge from training and a dynamic challenge and accomplish the training challenge (so may hits in so many game, for example) your dynamic challenge is deferred to the next at bat with no notification. This usually results in failure of the challenge (drive in the run, but there's no one on base in the second AB).
                      2. Also in RTTS, if you change the advance/retreat runner to buttons, the camera controls do not switch to the analog stick like in 18. Instead, when you advance the runner, the camera looks at the ball and when you retreat, the camera looks at the 3B coach.
                      3. Some of the jumbotron animations do not fit on Colorado's scoreboard, due to the odd size.
22 years on OS and still counting...

My hitter got thrown out at first by the RF because he slowly walked up to the bag instead of running through it.

Also had a guy steal home on me because the fielding cam never triggered, it just stayed in pitching cam and the catcher didn't do anything.

Was playing a game in franchise and pinch hit for my pitcher. After the inning it said u have a position player on the mound but would not let me bring in relief. Finally I went to “quick manage” and was able to do it but when I got back in the game the night turned to day and then checked the box score after the game and every one has 0’s. It was the third game of my season but only shows players playing in two games and lost all stats....for example, Russell Martin game winning homerun.

I thought they fixed this by never having the first baseman cover the bag on a ball hit to the outfield. I’ve never seen a aaCPU first baseman cover the bag on a hit to
the OF. I had a slow CPU runner hit a schorcher to right and wished my guy would have covered. Could have nailed him.
