Ok I’m just gonna say it analog throwing is broken. It’s basically impossible to make a good throw to first. Everything is in the red. This must be a bug because the other bases are fine.

I’m setting the meter OFF untill this is fixed.

How did they miss this?!

It's not just throws to first, I've tried half a dozen times on a ball to short to underhand toss or short throw to second and my ss throws it into RF 75% of the time. Fricken maddening as hell.
Doesn't matter if I flick the stick or hold it, same issue either way

Ok I switched to button accuracy for now untill they fix this mess but I’m kinda digging it this year!

My biggest petpeeves with the meter past years was that the meter was too big and was always showing above the selected player before you even touched a throw button.

Both things have been “fixed” in 19! [emoji2]

Yep. It's definitely broken. I've been pretty good with analog the past 5 days I've had 18, and I couldn't even do the tutorial without either pull my 2nd baseman off the bag, or throwing it into the stands trying to throw to first. Weird.

I’ve changed to Button for now which seems to be working fine.

Although with no meter it’s hard to know if you’ve held it down long enough.

In 17 (I believe) there was also something wrong with analog throwing on the field and they fixed it in an early patch.

I have played five full games with no errors throwing (a couple fielding errors due to bad positioning).

I have played with Analog Defense since I started playing The Show, and I have posted an explanation to making it more enjoyable.

It requires a light touch, a quick flick towards the target, PRE LOAD- PRE LOAD- PRE LOAD, turn off throw cancelling, and max effort is not always needed for routine throws.

It is working perfectly for me, no issues at all, and is why I enjoy defense in the game as much as I do.

Ratings mated with effort and user-input.

Yes, but as most of my games are offline, and against the CPU, there is no need for me (personally) to have throw cancelling on.

I am not going to be tricking the CPU into making a throw, so i have had throw cancelling to OFF ever since my Analog Fielding experience began.

That said, I cannot speak for issues with it being turned on, other than early on in my Show experience, I blamed a sloppy controller for the "rebound" I spoke of in the Impressions thread.

I think that rebound of the stick snapping back to the middle position, but making a false input is to blame.

Throw Cancelling OFF fixes that issue immediately.

I’ve been using analog since the day it got introduced so I don’t need a lesson.

Good that it works for you but seeing I’m not the only one experiencing constant red throws something must be off.

It probably makes it more difficult for the devs finding the problem knowing not everyone has this issue.

Thank you for finding this bug.
I played always in Pure Analog and never happened. But yesterday, when I tried, I discovered that the throw in first base it always with the indicator in red.
I didn't pay attention, but I got a little nervous.
I will also play with buttons, until they fix that bug

It’s broken! I played the pure analog since it was introduced! It’s definitely broken! Besides, it also took out the difficulty in fielding. Why?
