I'm really loving the gameplay of the Show 19 so far. I carried over my Braves franchise from 2018 and have run into two annoying issues.
Every single time I make any sort of roster move on my franchise, my lineups and rotation keeps changing. The game keeps trying to platoon Ronald Acuna with Adam Duvall in LF, and resetting my lineup which gets really annoying. I never noticed this happening at all in 18, and I was constantly making roster changes throughout the year.
Another thing I've noticed is that quite a few of the OSFM created players, particularly the ones that were on the MLB squad at some point are reset by the system (Aaron Blair on the Braves and Francis Martes on the Astros as two examples). Others however (such as Austin Riley and Mike Soroka) weren't touched. I have no idea what caused this or why this happened, but I have had to edit a few players back to their original names and general looks. I also noticed this with guys that weren't OSFM created players (Brandon McCarthy got changed into a 6'7" black dude). I was just wondering why this happened and if there is any way to work around these issues.
Has anyone else run into either of these problems or is this just something that is wrong with the way my franchise got carried over? How do I prevent it in the future?
