How do you level "myplayer"?

How do you level up or feed cards to your created player? Is there an article or a forum posts that explains how this years system works regarding Myplayer in DD?

Is doing the "specified" position missions and collecting those little 5 star points the only way? And how does that level your hitting? How are you able to level up your speed as opposed to leveling your power? I cant figure this out at all, seems very confusing.

My created player is a catcher for my DD team right now, ive completed all the catchers missions and it shows me as 78 ovr silver catcher. If i catch 300 innings il be able to be a diamond, but how do i pick my stats? Has that part been removed?

Also if the mods could keep this thread here and not move it to DD i would appreciate it because in DD forum there is no activity and i really do need help to figure this out.

So im assuming by everyones silence that Myplayer in DD can no longer be lvled how u want him? Its just pre lvled categories that predetermines his stats now?

I BELIEVE not 100 pct certain that u dont feed your guy. Doing those missions levels you up. At the very end you get to a diamond and mold the type of guy you want. Personally im going for power ss. Im a 75 silver currently. Also equipment adds to your ratings. I dont think you can get maxed out in everything.

Yeah ive spent enough time on that menu to feel like those mini missions are the only way to level up.

I just dont like that you cant really pick if you want to be really good vs left handers while hitting for power or mix and match, its all pre determined molds which take away all uniqueness to a created player, seems like someone dropped the ball tbh on this part of the game.
