    Timing hitting

Is their no option just to use timing hitting or is that directional? I like to just use x or square to hit. I can’t hit for nothing. No homeruns nothing. On 18 I just used timing am I doing something wrong?

    Re: Timing hitting

Directional is what used to be timing. It was the same in 18. It is possible to just press X, square or circle and do just fine, but I would suggest giving this a read: https://forums.operationsports.com/f...ing-guide.html

That’s all I use. What level are you playing on? In my first game I put it on VET and hit three homers. Second game I went up to AS and lost 4-3.

Do you use directional for this? Like the other poster said?

And if you do want to try directional but don’t like the camera shift, you can turn that off in the hitting settings. I used directional exclusively in 18, but it took me forever to realize that was an option.

Timing is using directional, without using the stick. You just center swing.

Oh jeez no wonder you avoided using influence. Yeah it's a terrible setting that serves no purpose but to mess up your pitch recognition.

Is it still impossible to have any success with this mode of hitting above the All Star Level?
