Interesting, i tested same kind of thing with Jays white panel cap. I used the throwback (white panel) uniform and switched the cap to the new one added on last patch. Then when I saw the corresponding white panel batting helmet I was like, wow this is fixed now.



Just to found later it was as you said, linked to the jersey. I think awhile ago SDS made the switch and linked the cap & helmet but it sounds like there’s some exceptions.

Maybe since those 2 caps were patched in they use the old format.

The Braves team color 1 and 2 should stay the same home and away instead of switching. They primarily wear navy blue sleeves and tape both home and away so there's no reason for everything to turn red in the game on the road. Also, their striped Stance socks need to be added

The Royals gold “KC” hat should have the batting helmet with a gold “KC” on it as well.

The game has the generic helmet paired.

Angels ‘01 throwbacks should have TC 1 as blue and TC 2 as red

I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned already but the Giants away jersey has different shade of grey for top and pants. Pants are slightly darker. It’s starting to bug me lol. Was the same in ‘18

I don't know why this bothers me so much, but it does. Who should we contact to make this seemingly simple switch?

Well, it’s up to the developers and per forum rules, you can’t call them out here so you can try an scea email or twitter. Hopefully they read the thread and if they deem it a priority, they fix them. To us, it’s a big deal, but to them, they’re probably focusing on next year’s game and this year’s bugs.

They added the helmet chin guard without the buttons on it. I think they have added some batting gloves and bats too. Not sure when this happened just noticed it.

A very minor error here but they've fixed minor things like this before so I figured it was worth a post... For the Rockies 1993 throwbacks, in 93 the Rockies had a slightly different cap logo. It's so minor that it can only be seen in comparison pics so check it out below. The 93 logo was thinner and seemingly taller, most noticable in the R. In the pics below I included a pic of Don Baylor wearing a 93 sleeve patch just to confirm that this was in 1993 and not any other year...

I checked, they added one red white and blue Franklin batting glove design that can't have its colors changed. It's either for 4th of July or the All Star Game, can't remember which.

I did just check myself. They did add 1 Franklin Stars and Stripes gloves and a LS Stars and Stripes bat.

As for the C Flap without buttons that has been in the game since launch by selecting the Rawlings MachPro helmet.

The Cubs wore their 1969 throwback unis last night. I wish they would wear throwbacks more often. Maybe use one for a Sunday home game alternate. I doubt they put this one in the game this year but here's to hoping.

I think The Show needs a total uniform revamp. More throwback unis, take out the batting practice uniforms (teams don't even use BP jerseys anymore, they are more like 3/4 pullovers or they wear hoodies) and replace them with spring training unis, and accurate 1980s pullovers (get rid of the buttons)

Throwback uniforms could definitely be improved but no reason to remove BP uniforms. They're "current" so they should be in the game for sure (meaning the Show 19 should have every 2019 jersey no questions asked) and many teams have excellent BP jerseys that are quite great for a change of pace and also they look excellent for anyone that ever does the practice modes as well as being great replacements for the non existent spring training uniforms.

Would it hurt SCEA much to add "alternate" throwbacks per team? For instance on the Pirates, add the Black Jersey/Yellow Pants so then you can be able to mix n match with all the different combos the Pirates wore in 1979. Also they added the 1998 Padres Home/Away but should add the Nave alternate as they wore that quite a bit in 98. The Astros have their 2005 World Series set but are missing the Brick Red alternates which they wore quite a bit that season. Also for the 1998 Diamondbacks/Devil Rays uniforms they should add the alternate tops/caps as both clubs wore alternates quite a bit those early seasons as well.
