    Carried over frachise player error

Have any of you that have carried over your franchise had an error like this?

I have Kolby Allard that I traded for from Atlanta (OSFM 16 version) who's now in my rotation. However, he's now also listed as a RF with an overall of 29. No hitting attributes over 0. He's now placed into my lineup every day as my DH where there are others set into that spot already.

I have looked into his ratings and he's not listed as a RF and he's still also in my rotation. The game asks me to let him hit as he's losing his edge everyday and I have to manually switch him out of the lineup at game start.

Yes I have bug reported it and I suggest you do the same. Check out the bug reports thread for a link. You will also see my discussion on it there.

I carried over my franchise and had players lose their stats. The one example I saw was Cesar Hernandez of the Phillies.

Curious...did you guys carryover in the middle of a season or the offseason?

Wondering if there is a correlation as to when you carried over to the bug popping up?

Also, are you seeing this in Spring Training games or regular season games?

I ask that question because I haven't had this issue during Spring Training games, when an AL team was the home team and the DH was used.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

          I carried over mid-season.

            Had this happen myself.

Was playing a franchise game against the Orioles who had Stephen Gonsalves hitting. Which... was easy to counter, since he has no hitting ability whatsoever, but still very confusing.

EDIT - Noticed that when you have Ohtani, when it's not his turn pitching, he gets set into the lineup as a DH. Opening his player card, low and behold, he gets set as a RF, like Gonsalves for me, and like Allard for the OP.

This is not a fun bug for carryover franchise guys... but on the plus side, if we can figure out what causes it, we might have two-way players well and truly in the game.

Yes. I will give SDS credit for this much. They heard franchise fans and implemented a feature to allow Otani to function as both a SP and a DH in franchise mode. Even if the user isn't the Angels. Credit there because with the TJ surgery I thought SDS might just make him into a RF for this year's game and call it a day. Obviously they have implemented a bug that is affecting teams other than the Angels. At least that's fixable and hopefully soon.

In my carryover White Sox Franchise I have seen Michael Kopech on the bench as a RF in few of the spring training games....Haven't seen any pitcher put into starting lineup though.

Carried over at the end of the off-season before advancing to spring.

It had been fixed for regular season games, it seemed, but now it's still in the playoff games. Bug report resubmitted already for the playoff lineups.

                  Makes my ALCS unplayable currently.
