Anyone else struggling to hit HR?

13 games in my franchise and have 4 home runs total. I get a good amount of doubles but cant hit the ball out of the yard on all star hitting.

yes

seems like offline hitting is broken.

and in moments games, seems like all star is easier to hit than veteran. Veteran the ball just dies whereas in all star there seems to be more pop.

hope they fix this.

played some online and hitting is much better online. just copy online to offline and game will be perfect.

Anyone else struggling to hit HR?

I’ve been exclusively playing Play Now while waiting for roster updates and I am definitely not having any problems with homeruns. I play on HOF for pitching and hitting, and I use pure analog. I’m averaging almost 3 homeruns a game, and I hit 6 in one game as the Yankees. I’m giving up at least one a game lol.

I play on HOF hitting and Legend pictching and only hit 3 homeruns in 21 games in my franchise. I guess you have to adjust sliders

I play on All Star and haven’t had any issues. In fact I went back-back-back with Harper, Hoskins, and Realmuto against the Twins last night.

I've only played two games so far on default HOF and hit 7 home runs, had to lower the power slider one notch.

I use analog for hitting, which probably makes it significantly easier.

Maybe I just suck but I did just hit a walk off homer with Jason Heyward of all people. Maybe it's a step in the right direction

Seems like veteran diff is the problem.

In moments it won’t let you change diff.

All star moments you get some pop in your Bat. Veteran everything dies like this whiffle ball.

I started off really struggling my first couple games but I’m finding the hitting a lot more balanced as I’ve been playing. Maybe you just need more time to adjust.

I just tried analog for the first time after reading your comment and hit 2 HR with Bryant who had 0 before also scored 10 runs. I think I'll stick with this.

First time in many years of playing that’s happened for me.

Patience at the plate is key. I’ve learned to work the count in my favor by laying off bad pitches. This includes ones in the zone that aren’t ideal to hit when I have less than 2 strikes.

Being patient and waiting for your pitch will lead to better contact which will also lead to more homeruns for that powerful Cubs team.

Also, don’t get discouraged when things are going poorly. This game will humble you just like baseball in real life.

Veteran hitting it is definitely way harder to hit a HR on that level then HOF or All Star. Kind of like they have difficulty setting out of order. On Veteran the ball flies like a balloon. It go so slow and hangs in the air way too long and just dies before it make it to the wall.

I upped to the power to 9 and now hitting on Veteran feel like the default hitting for HOF. Ball have way more speed off the bat and no longer have that slow flying balloon floating feeling to it.
