those who purchased MLB The Show 19

I'm still on the fence on whether to buy it or not.

I currently have 18 and have kept an updated roster set for that.

To those who bought 19 is it worth the money?

I know opinions differ just wanted some input. If its not worth it in most eyes I'll just use 18...just curious...thoughts?
    I am the way
    I am the light
I am the dark inside the night.
    I hear your hopes
    I feel your dreams
And in the dark I hear your screams
Don't turn away, Just take my hand
I'll never leave, All I ask of you, Is Believe.

    Believe

if money is an issue, then I say, no matter how good a game is, dont buy. but if money isnt really a factor, then, at $1.25 a week for 52 weeks, its definitely a must buy.

In my opinion no. Taking mind that I just bought MLB the show 18 last Sunday and bought 19 on Thursday and I just don't find that there's enough major gameplay differences to justify the money. Especially when 19 has a worse frame rate

I was on the fence...didn't get it on release day as I had 18 playing so darn good. I purchased yesterday and while it's a not a huge upgrade, it's definitely worth it. One little touch for me is real organs in specific ball parks which I don't remember them ever having. I don't believe every team's real organ is in the game but I know it's their for the Cards, Dodgers and Cubs and I'm sure many others.

I’m not going to say yes or no

I’ll just say that mlb 19 is the best playing baseball game that I’ve ever played.

Usually I'd say you're overreacting because the game is so new and you're just in the honeymoon phase, but man...this game is phenomenal. Every single game feels different and awesome.

you werent around for Show 17
cb had to put 17 away & return to 16
I think the biggest reason I stayed with 17 was because 17 finally got rid of the dead hollow zombie eyes

That’s because imo the game improves each year, except for ‘17 which I didn’t care for and went back to ‘16.

EDIT: I see Caufield already mentioned it

                      This is a brilliant rationalization

That been my new standard for a couple of years now. My enjoyment to cash/time ratio is $1.00. I have to get a an hour out of every dollar I spend on a game. So with how much I played '18 I spent .04 an hour. The Show is about the only game I buy new anymore except for F1 and anything from CDPR.

What was wrong with 17? 16 was excellent but 17 did not do anything wrong from what I recall

I said all winter that I was sticking with 18. Then, a couple of weeks ago, I decided to pre-order 19.

I don’t regret that decision one bit.

Out of the box I felt the game was unbalanced and that hitting was off. I replayed it a few times after patches but it never felt “right” to me and didn’t provide the enjoyment I found in ‘16.
