Franchise uniform selection

For each franchise game, shouldn't we be able to see both teams uniforms before the game, so for example, if I want to go with the dark blue jersey I can make sure the other team is not wearing dark blue as well? At this point it doesnt show the other teams jersey at all.

Move the controller selection over to the opposing team and you can view which jersey they are wearing, and change their jersey for the game if you want.

It's weird, it won't move over when I try that. Of course I'm not there right now to try it again but every time I have tried it, the controller won't move to that side. I must be doing something wrong.

I'm pretty sure I've done it this year. I know you could last year.

I'm not in front of the game right now to try it. I'll double check when I get home.

Same here I'm stuck at work, I mean I've played this game for years lol so I don't know what I'm missing.

Does it work if you only do single team control and not 32? I've always played 32 team control and known that you can change the opponents uniform. But I'm not sure if it does with single team control.

I only do a single team franchise and have been able to change Uniforms on every version since at least MLB 14. In fact, part of my little MLB universe entails writing down a uniform registry for every team yearly. Just a cool little way to add to the immersion of my Franchise and since I'm in 2024 just another way to replicate uniform changes. So my MLB the Show binder, has my Seasonal stats, Awards and also what uniform each teams were "assigned". Lets just say in my Franchise, powder blue road unis have made a big comeback

They removed AAA & AA team uniforms selection screen. I know they only have a home & road ones but with some teams it was interesting to do some mixup with caps or even home/road jerseys for those who had a color jersey.

I only do a single team franchise and have been able to change Uniforms on every version since at least MLB 14. Turns out you cannot change or even look at the opposing team uniform in Manage Mode, which is the mode I mostly play. So, I'm not that crazy lol.

That sucks. I was thinking that perhaps it was a controller/profile issue or something.

The bugs thread does absolutely nothing to get the games fixed... you have to manually file a bug report on the show nation.
