I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

A PSA (not a workaround): Swinging strikes and replays

There are circumstances where when you swing it appears you should have got a piece of the ball but ends up a swinging strike. If you go to the replays, it may appear the ball goes through the bat. This has been a replay phenomenon for a number of years and is brought up most years. There isn't anything to be done on our end and it hasn't been/cannot be addressed on the devs side so don't let it get to you.

But that is really interesting that it works for me and not you. I wonder what it is that makes it not the same for everyone? Might be some setting or something? I have no idea, but really weird how it's different for different people like that.
That is odd. I have "scheduled" a pitcher at the beginning of an inning and with 2 outs. My pitcher has ALWAYS been fully ready if I schedule at beginning of the inning. If I schedule with 2 outs, his readiness depends on how long it took to get the 3rd out. And if the pitcher isn't quite fully ready, he usually is ready with the 8 pitches...again depending how long it took to get 3rd out and the pitcher's stamina rating I believe plays a role. So definitely appears to be a bug that fortunately isn't reproduced by everyone.

I think the bug is that his readiness did not increase between the 1st and 2nd out. His bar should have gone up a fair amount. I think that is why when he came in he wasn't fully ready. Curious..did you throw the 8 pitches? If so, did he become fully ready?

The issue, once again if you read my post and watch the video, is NOT the readiness. It IS that when you use schedule to pitch to bring a pitcher in he is missing a good chunk of stamina for no reason whatsoever.

I did read your post, watched the video, and I highlighted YOUR language. Yes I saw that the "energy bar" was not full but of course it won't be full if your guy either doesn't have full energy or has lost energy because he is not fully ready. If you compare his energy bar with his ready bar they appear to be EXACTLY tied to one another. So the readiness appears to be the bug.

Actually it doesn't. I purposely did it this way to show another poster that his way did not work either. They ready bar has nothing to do with how the stamina bar is lower after using the Schedule to Pitch button. I have tried every possible combination and the stamina loss is only tied to the Schedule to Pitch button. You can leave the Pitcher in for as many Innings as you want with a full readiness bar and set to Ready and Waiting and then put the Pitcher in thru the Bullpen Screen and he will come in with NO Stamina Drain. At any point if you use the Schedule to Pitch button, regardless of readiness he will come in with Stamina Loss.

This thread is just turning into another argument thread. Im really tired of the nonsense that OS has become.

Would a MOD please delete this thread as it is not going to serve any purpose and I will no longer be updating it or putting forth any more effort to improve the site or help other to enjoy the game.

                  I'm out.
