    Budget question

Does our weekly cash flow change depending on if we're at home or on the road?

My team is showing -$66k weekly deficit.

The revenue is showing +8.3 mil and my expenses are showing -7.7 mil. This should be a +600k/week profit.

Only thing I can think of is that somehow revenue drops when on the road.

My other team is at home and the weekly cash flow is sitting at $400k plus which agrees with the revenue/expense chart.

Before the season I worked really hard to get a good positive budget, and it did show +$500k for a while, but I don't know when it dropped to where it is now. This team has not played at home yet.

After playing further into the schedule, the revenue does change while on the road.

If you can find someone to explain budget I'd like to see it.

Since the change a year or two ago I can't figure it out.

Sorry didn’t respond sooner but yes when you’re not playing home games, you’re budget will decrease as you’re not taking in money (aside from sponsorships I believe) but you’re paying out expenditures.

When you are home you should be bringing in more money than paying out so weekly budget will increase

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Yes. After the Astros got back home they went from -66K to +600K.

Okay I’m going to add on to this thread (not trying to thread hijack) But how does “cash flow” work. I’m sitting at 1.21 million per week and I literally have no idea what that even means lol

Your players are paid weekly, as are your coaches and scouts I believe. So as long as you have a positive weekly cash flow you're good.

To get a rough estimate of your total budget you take your weekly cash flow and multiply by 26. The exact number is like 26.2....something or other.
