    Contract extensions gone

Started a franchise with the Jays and all of a sudden I can't find contract extensions anywhere.. Has this happened to anyone else? Seems like it just vanished.

Only exists during spring training and/or mid season trade deadline.

You can only do contract extensions at two points during the regular season:

      *Spring Training

      *Trade Deadline Prep Phase (July)

Other than those two points, you cannot do contract extensions during the season.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I asked the same question like a week ago lol. Not sure why its just not available all year. That to me makes 0 sense.

So instead of it just being there all year, a programer said " Hey lets limit this " and set it up for 2 very specific times of year. While I'm glad they FINALLY added it this year, it is with a caveat when it doesn't need or have to be.

            Re: Contract extensions gone

My issue with contracts is there is very little in the way of "Negotiations". Look at Nolan Arenado in real life. They had been discussing an extension for the past year, if not longer. In the show, I wait until the extension period and make the circle green and basically done.

The whole system needs to be reworked and needs to be more difficult to sign/extend players. There needs to be some logic for the player tied to morale or something. Its not realistic for me to sign a player on my team with poor morale to an 8 year contract extension, just doesn't make sense.

I understand that this is the first year and they were probably limited as to what they could do, but I think next years game needs some deeper integration. I am happy that it was included though.

Does anyone know if CPU teams sign any of their players to extensions? I havent played enough franchise yet(waiting for OSFM).
