Could someone give me some tips for MLB '19 RTTS?

For instance I don't know which personality set to take and which perk tree path is best. Also, am wondering which of these is better to make a good player in the long run (power power, small ball, utility)?

Not to sound like I am giving you a hard time. But there is no real answer to those questions. It is mostly a matter of choice and how you want to play.

My best advice for you if you are new to the mode is to just play. Create whatever kind of player you want and just go for it. I will say, for this year, being a new player I would select the team you want to play for as I believe it will increase your enjoyment until you figure things out. Make a bunch of players, just have fun with it. You really cant do anything wrong. Any player you create can be taken for the long haul.

Being worried about creating the best possible player before you even start is no good dude. Read the descriptions and make a decision. Play the game, enjoy the game. Don't try to game the game.

Play what sounds good to you. All depends on how you want to play. The personality thing is cool and gives you some perks, but it's not a deal breaker if you pick the wrong one. Like said above, create multiple and play what you have the most fun with.
