Ugh, I’m glad they’re adding these fixes but it’s annoying having to wait to play for 20 minutes every other time i turn the game on haha

As painful as it is to say this...it's never coming back. Ever. User options are not compatible with programmer/developer arrogance, especially when you've convinced yourself you've done something super cool.

Every time I see it, it makes me cringe. But we're in the minority, I guess.

I love the no doubt home run camera. To me it’s satisfying to see when you nail it. Instead of just watching ball go.

I feel the same way. I absolutely love the no doubt camera. It’s a neat little thing.

What I don't get is this year they add new camera angles batter and pitcher camera angles. Not only do they give you an option to turn these off they also give you a bunch of options like frequency and high leverage situations.

Why can't this be done with the home run camera? Just like with the new batter and pitcher camera angles, some people will love them, some will hate them. Just give us the damn option.

It's like this game is made by two separate dev teams sometimes.

The history behind this whole thing is all you need to know...the option was there...and it was removed, and this was followed by a series of apologetics from the developers saying that they were willing to reduce the frequency that it played...but they had made their decision that there was to be no option (one can go back and find the threads and verify). Hence, my previous comment pertaining to programmer arrogance. Nobody asked for the cam shots to be removed...just to return to having the option. They made it clear that it was so cool you would have to enjoy it.

Some simply don't get it...we're talking about an option that was previously there...if you think it's cool, then nice, but that's secondary to having the choice removed in the first place.

After the 1.07 patch, franchise mode has an even larger frame-rate issue.  Even the intro video when the game loads up now has major stuttering!  I originally gave this game a 2 out of 10 rating.  I now have to change it to a 0 out of 10 due to the fact that the game is now unplayable.  I am so sick of this new fad of releasing unfinished and un-tested games. Time to park it on the shelf to collect dust or trade it in and give Super Mega Baseball 2 a go so that I can get my baseball fix in.

Just tested and the Road to the Show mode also has a now unplayable frame rate.

Is it me or is hitting a little harder since this patch? I’ve been making terrible contact all day.

In my last 2 games played as the Yankees I had 17 hits combined, all singles. Lost the first to the Angels 3-2 in a game where I scored the tying run in the bottom of the 8th on a wild pitch but gave up the game winner in the 9th.
Second game I beat the Cardinals 3-0 scoring all 3 in the 4th inning on a walk, 3 singles and a sac fly.
Don’t get me wrong I like the fact that I’m scoring in other ways besides home runs but it’s just weird that my hitting has severely suffered since the patch.

Let's not forget a couple years ago they said the frequency of the home run celebration would be reduced to only 25% (or 1 of 4) of the times a home run was hit. This year's and even 2018 shows it on nearly every no doubt home run.
