How do you get a player CAP on to a roster?

I downloaded a Vlad Guerrero Jr. CAP from the player vault, but I can't figure out how to get him on the Jays roster. Any help would be appreciated.

Click over another player you want to copy over and dont mind losing, preferably a fake player. You cant do this in franchise mode, you have to do it outside, then use that roster for franchise

Do you just save the player from the vault and then do that? Or do you do it when you are getting the player from the vault?

It goes from the vault to your ps4. Then later you take it from your ps to the rosters
