Player Trade Value

I have a question for you guys. I’m doing an Indians franchise and Kipnis is KILLIN it. At the all star break he’s batting .290 with 17 HRs.

That being said I’d love to move his huge contract, especially since his true rating is like a 78. So that leads to my question. If a player is playing well, does his trade value in the show go up? Or on the flip side if somebody is having a down year does their value go down?

yeah, now theres a doubled chance of getting a quick answer. I dont really know the answer, myself.
