Last year I played one game each of AA and AAA during the MLB All-Star Break. Playing 162 games is time consuming as it is, so I don't really have time to dive into minors, though it is tempting to get to play with those top prospects sometimes. I will player lock one of my guys in the minor league All-Star games if they make it. And if my team is facing elimination in the playoffs I player lock a key guy and play.
Does anyone play minor league games in their franchises?

Yep I play them, i also watch a lot of CPU vs CPU match ups. A lot of people find it boring to watch CPU vs CPU games but I disagree, if you have great rosters, great sliders you'll have a blast.
I have went through and set up my sounds of the show, it's awesome to go into a ball park and have the sites and sounds of the mlb.
Then go into some random AA or AAA game and enjoy that ol at the play ground atmosphere. And tbh shout out to Armor, if your into CPU vs CPU games his sliders plays very well for them. I've seen all kinds of very awesome variety games.I stream a variety of video games for relaxation and fun.
