I know this has been discussed some in the past but this year it seems like it’s it’s especially impossible. Given, I’m the Cubs and I don’t expect to swipe many bases, but I am curious, are other players on other teams stealing rating atrociously low? I’m talking single digits. One of my leadoff hitters (Albert Almora Jr.) has a speed I think in the 60’s while his stealing is (I believe) maybe 2.
It seems crazy to me.
I have seen in the past where some mention, “manual,” stealing... does this actually work? And what are some general suggestions to improve stealing ability? I already have steal success rate up one click at 6 and steal frequency there as well. I play on Hall of Fame and slide away from the bag to try to give myself the best chance at a successful steal. I fail pretty much always.
