I have finally had some free time on my hands today so I was able to update my spreadsheet to upload. Its not perfect, so if someone wants to add more content to it, by all means please go ahead. There might be a few things I overlooked, but I wanted to upload it because I know quite a few people were looking to use it.
So here it is. I removed all the Marlins icons and colours and made it as generic "MLB" as I could so it would be useable for everyone.
A few things:
- The contracts page, copy and paste the "Arb-1", Arb-2" when you add players, rather than typing in "Arb-1", Arb-2", etc... Each Arb box has a value based on the average Arb values for that particular year. That will add whatever that arb value is into the total yearly contract values. If you click on each Arb box, it will show you the value on the top bar above the spreadsheet. Example: "Arb-1" has a value of 1500000, "Pre-Arb" has a value of 750000. This makes it look prettier and is easier to keep track of players arb years at a glance I find rather than having numbers.
- All contract and age values should be automatically pulled into the graphs on the right hand side of the Contracts page. Managers contracts work similar to players, it should calculate totals at the bottom of the chart.
- Roster is mostly manual, however if you enter a duplicate Jersey Number it will highlight the numbers in red, indicating 2 players have the same number so you can change it(I hate this about MLB The Show, how it doesnt tell you). The chart will also calculate how many players are entered on your team at the bottom, so you dont go over the 25man roster limit.
- The transactions & draft picks is all manually entered, nothing fancy here.
- Standings will calculate winning % and Games Back once the Wins & Lossess are entered. Unfortunate you will have to manually change the physical location of the teams & stats depending on where they are in the standings. You might be able to use the sort feature for this, I haven't tried yet.
- Postseason bracket is nothing special either, I just copied the teams logo from the "Standings" tab and Paste it into the box and changed the colour. You may need to fiddle with this a bit as sometimes the sizing becomes a little wonky.
- Awards tab is all manually entered in as well, just a nice way to keep track.
Click the link below, go to file, Make a Copy and it should let you edit it to your hearts content. Like I said earlier, if anyone wants to change or add anything, by all means go ahead. I am just happy I can upload and contribute something to this great community that has made my MLB The Show experience so much better throughout the years.
