The catcher starts to throw and then the game cuts to the pitcher having the ball and selecting his pitch.

There are times when the plays out the catcher throwing the ball back to the pitcher but not every time.

I’ve been playing 18 Franchise with broadcast presentation on and you’re wrong. The catcher always throws the ball back to the pitcher every single time. What they cut out on occasion is the batter stepping into the batters box. Sometimes the cutscene of the batter stepping in plays and sometimes it doesn’t.

19 is easily the best of the series but held back by terrible frame rate issues and the graphics to me took a step back

Art style the same but jaggies everywhere and the year they introduce the nice pre pitch cameras it shows how terrible the graphics took a hit with horrible foul lines and jaggies around players.

But on the field gameplay the 19 version is the best. If they can fix the FPS issue we would all be happy

Yup 12 was a fantastic game. I can’t think of any issues with that one. 11 was before the dynamic gameplay, 13 had the rounding 3rd glitch where runnerss slowed down. 14 was pretty good. Never played 15 through 17. 18 is fantastic. For 19 I keep hearing about framerate issues.

Oh it was great, but it had plenty of bugs. Ball physics were introduced and they are no where near the excellence of 19.

Score ticker was bugged with league leaders.

Every game ends up with some sort of signature quirk.

I have yet to find one with 19.

Easily the best console baseball game ever made.....and I will say it again...I say it every cycle because they always raise the bar every year with gameplay and presentation.

I will not be playing any other game for a long long time. It owns my soul.

No you are wrong. You don’t see the full animation of the throw back to the pitcher every single pitch. It plays out sometimes. Not every time.

Every game ends up with some sort of signature quirk.

I have yet to find one with 19.

Right now, it's probably the 2 way pitchers on the carryover that aren't two way pitchers (zero hitting ability).

It seems if you carryover during the season you get this issue and not if you start in April. I'm finishing my carryover playoffs in 18 and will try to bring it to 19 once I'm done.
