I tried buying the reg $60 version online and it is nowhere to be found. Is that an error or are they trying to get us to spend $120 ?

PlayStation store for digital.
Most retailers should sell the normal version for 59.99 or Amazon as well.

You have to search for it. All of the links take you to the digital deluxe or ultimate edition. It's there, I bought my standard edition online.
