    Saving difficulty within game mode

I primarily play Franchise and RTTS, but play franchise on HOF difficulty while playing RTTS on veteran. It's obvious more fun to be able to consistently mash with my RTTS player than to hit .250 with 15 HR on the season.

Is there a way to save the difficulty level so I don’t have to change it when going back and forth between modes?

    Minor complaint but annoying.

    Thanks

It’s unfortunately been that way for as long as I can remember. You have to just remember to change it to make sure you don’t screw up your franchise/RTTS because the difficulty was too high/low.

Just create a separate profile (from the user settings screen) to use in Franchise. RTTS will use whatever's saved as your default profile and there's nothing that can change that, but for Franchise you can associate any profile with a team.

Once you've created the profile you want to use in Franchise and gotten the settings (including difficulty) set how you want them, go into "Settings File Associations" and choose the profile you just created. That will select that profile as the one to be used when you start a franchise game with your team.

Alternatively, you can skip the settings file association screen, and just remember to select the correct profile on the controller select screen with the R stick before starting a franchise game.
