I do constantly change pitch speeds but not based on what camera I'm using. I set pitch speed based on the current pitcher I'm facing fastball velocity attribute rating. Constantly changing cameras and pitch speed are just a couple things I do to keep the game from getting stale and me from dominating
That’s a great idea thanks Caulfield. I’m probably hitting a little too well using Wide, 15 and Retro to stay at All Star which I would like to do. So I’ve done a little reverse engineering using your concept and decided to try Fish Eye at Home and Fish Eye 2 Away which are cameras I really struggle with. I can still get varied hits/doubles/homers but it’s trimmed my overall output nicely.
I switch around every time I get in a slump. Between the show 15 , retro and zoom. Each still lets me see the stride and have just a slight difference in the speed the ball comes in. The show 15 is my fav though s it really lets me judge those low balls.
I use The Show 15 camera angle as per Mike Lowe's suggestion in his sliders. But really, I find it to be the best looking. I really don't like the ultra zoomed camera's while batting. Takes the feel out of the game for me.

I use Offset or Offset Zoom, possibly modified. I know it's one of the Offsets and the bottom of the plate meets the bottom of my TV screen.
It's been fantastic this year, I love it, I'm taking walks, hitting well. This is probably the best year for me personally. I don't like fisheye cause I have to strain my eyes to catch the ball out of the pitcher's hand. I like the style of it but not with a 40" tv.
I was using Strike Zone 3 and loving it but had to nerf the pitch speed to get good contact on fastballs. I am now in the process of trialling retro and the show 15 which allow me to use default pitch speed and make good contact on fastballs. I agree retro is great for picking up balls out of the strike zone however I seem to be making better contact with the Show 15.
With 15 I think it gives better presentation overall... But for balls/strikes retro can't be beat imo... I gave a few different ones a look, see how they felt... But I keep coming back to 15...

I've been a huge Retro (custom a bit further back for my liking) but man I switched to MLB 15, zoomed back a tad, wow! I started raking for some reason.
Gave fisheye a look because of this thread, and holy crap, what a difference it has already made for me. Might make some more minor adjustments to reel in the camera and bring it in closer, but I was making a lot more solid contact in my test game last night.
I've been playing on the custom camera that's referred to earlier in the thread. Successful.... BUT.... Was slumping a bit and switched to MLB 15 camera last night after all the buzz in this thread. Holy shizzle. My RTTS SS is on around a 20 game hitting streak. My only complaint with the camera and it's not even a really a complaint, is my power numbers (HR's) dipped when I switched. Doubles and average climbed but I'm not getting under the ball quite like I wa for the HR's. Fabulous camera though... can't believe haven't tried sooner.
Must say this has been the best camera thread in years and because of all the great ideas I’ve done a fair bit of chopping and changing 😀 I’m getting used to JoshCs slider idea of a Hum Timing at 4 so I’ve bailed out of Fish Eye and gone back to my security blanket of the Show 15 just so I can can stick with Default pitch speed and still get some hits. Agreed it’s a great all purpose camera.
