Difficulty settings for Franshise

Fellas,

Just curious on what difficulties you all play on against the cpu during your franchise mode? Also, if anybody tweaks sliders such as pitch speed?

I did dynamic, and it brought me somewhere between hall of fame and legend for hitting. Pitch speed was pretty challenging for me, but default sliders are all in the middle for hall of fame, which was default I guess.

dynamic difficulty

pitch speed is adjusted to the pitcher I'm facing based on their fastball velocity rating in game :
10 = 90+
9 = 80-89
8 = 70-79
7 = 60-69
6 = 50-59
5 = 40-49
4 = 30-39
3 = 20-29
2 = 10-19
1 = 9 & under

Legend pitching and hitting with both pitch speed sliders maxed.

I am jealous of all you max pitch speed slider people. I hit on Hall of Fame and pitch on legend. I have fastball pitch speed at slider level 3

Have you ever tried it? It's nuts for sure and I'm assuming very realistic but seriously though you get used to the speeds after about a hundred batters or so.

I haven’t tried max but I tried regular and I was getting so frustrated. I was swinging at basically everything close and couldn’t identify anything until I had already struck out lol

Give it a shot just for fun. Legend with max speeds, then report back.

I’m barring on HOF (sometimes legend) with zone hitting and pitch speed 7. I haven’t increased it cause I might not be quick enough with PCI haha

I do Legend for both hitting in pitching with adjusted sliders. It’s more like HOF +++

I’ve always been directional. I’ve played games and sports video games since I was 7 years old and I honestly cannot do zone. I like it simple and sim, which is why I’ll always be directional/classic.

Makes sense! I’m 30 now, same story, been playing since I was a kid.

I love the element of the LS being the barrel of the bat but there is no way I could do that on max pitch speed. I have it at 7 now (sometimes 8) and that seems to be a nice medium for me.

In games past people have charted the differences in reported speeds compared to visual speed and legend with max speed has been the closest you could come to being accurate.
