So I voted jury is still out even though I am enjoying the game and it's for one reason. There are still a number of pretty major bugs affecting the game. We've got no subs in Spring Training, pitchers in the DH spot, not bring able to add salary in trades, etc. I'm sure there are more that people can bring up. If they fix most of these things, then they get a thumbs up from me. But if they don't, then I would probably say regret simply because that would be bad on SDS' part not to do basically any bug fixes in a game cycle for some critical bugs.

I love it ... we need more diving animation for outfield catches especially. Catches against the wall etc not enough of that..and of course ps5 should take care of new graphics - even though I think we are solid now ... need fabiric physics badly

I figure bugs will keep quite a number on the fence until/if patches work

The gameplay is really good. MTO is not what I am looking for in a game, way too shallow. Just put season mode back and stop ****ing around already. I would even take franchise with adjusted season length.

Once you find a slider set for your play style it’s a great game. I love it. I love the show every year.

People always want a perfect video game and it’s never going to happen, It’s a video game.

You can ALWAYS find something wrong if you try hard enough.

I love the gameplay. It is by far the best in the series. I can't really invest in a franchise until salary issues are addressed. The trade logic is completely different with the new contracts.

Haven't got to play
a ton. Or as much as I like. For instance I haven't played a single rtts game besides the showcase.

Been toying with moments and franchise.. no DD yet but it's a very enjoyable experience so much I have not dug into about the game. Theres so many points to play. Often as games since we decide to not play something we miss out on the actual work and quality put into what we neglect.

I've really tried to open my horizons as I primarily have been a Rtts only (93%) player for a decade 06-16'

But I agree about the outfield. So many acrobatic plays are made in real life but the show has always lacked that in outfield and even infield honestly

Tough to say, gameplay is improved, but all the other stuff has taken a big step back (at least for my enjoyment). Franchise got very minor improvements, all coming with major problems. offline DD is just pretty boring tbh, there is nothing to do. Moments are terrible, just mind numbingly boring and repetitive and not enjoyable to me at all. Mto just isn't my thing. Rtts I've not really had a go at yet.

So the game is slit into 2 for me, the gameplay that is moving in the right direction and then the game modes, that honestly are worse than two years ago (for me as an offline DD and franchise guy)

I went with "Jury is still out" based almost entirely on the difficulty of finding a slider set that will make home runs happen without it feeling overpowered.

Feel like squaring up a pitch with a power swing gives you nothing but a line drive, and being just high from center results in a mile high foul ball that goes nowhere.

I love baseball and SDS does a great job with the game each year. It’s the reason I got a PlayStation way back.

Only thing keeping me from really playing the crap out of this game is the Framerate issues!
Hopefully they patch this soon
