I know R2 is to dive but how do you jump in the show 19 ?

Honestly the best thing to do is to go into options and turn on ONE BUTTON DIVE/JUMP. This way if you hit either R2 or R1 the game will either dive or jump based on situation.

This has never worked porperly. I try it again every year but too many times the player dives when he has to jump and visa versa.

I use button accuracy so I use the R stick to jump and dive which feels more natural to me. Still wish you could just push the R stick in the direction of the ball and the player would make the appropriate jump/dive like in MVP05 but unfortunately...

Curious..... outfield, infield, or both? I ask because it works pretty well with me but I've run into some issues with soft line drives in the infield that you have to track a bit backwards to make a jump catch. I can make these consistently when not optioned to one button but when I am optioned sometimes I'll get the dive animation instead of the jump.
