I'm a long suffering P-Irates fan as well, but I do like the Red Sox. Fantasy Draft is the solution.
Steelers, Penguins, Penn State, Pirates, Red Sox, Manchester United.

have you ever noticed that there is never a empty seat at the Rogers Centre during a blue jays game (franchise or regular) it hurts the realism

Yes. I’m running a Jays franchise and attendance is always over 42000 and my team is struggling. Should definitely be lower.

Weird. Maybe they just take the average over the past few seasons and roll with it that way?

I'm doing well with my Marlins franchise...started at about 10K/game, and now that I'm 20-9, I'm averaging about 16K on weekends.

            Thought your thread was brilliant!
Made me smile very much....I am the same!

New to MLB, my 3rd season following the Nats (as I was a regular visitor from the UK to DC to watch the Caps for 20 years), so the Nats were my team...
But its just not as much fun now, love him or hate him, playing as Nats now Bryce has left...

Cant decide who exactly to play as....Brewers, Twins or Rangers.....

I've always tried to play with the Mariners but it gets old losing all the time. I guess that means that the roster attributes are pretty accurate. LOL

Sometimes I like to play with a team that has a nice stadium (or at least a nice change from Safeco). *I know it's not Safeco anymore* This year I am playing with the M's and the Braves. I've also always liked the Mets as a NL team, but I'm changing it up this year. Will never play as the Yankees though. I lived in Boston for a couple years and frequented Sox games, but I just don't like playing games in Yankee stadium. In the game they always seem so overrated that it's just not enjoyable to play there....even when in real life they may suck.

                Just my opinion.

Yes, I think hes a cracking young player, but I like those "Big Mashers", like Gallo, Judge, (but I understand its not good manners to play as Yankees lol)
I like Yelich a lot too...

I do feel like I ma cheating on the Nats (my team for 2 years)

I NEVER used my Reds (or any of my other favortie teams) in a franchise....I always used a bunch of other teams for no rhyme or reason other than I thought they were interesting. Then last year....I spun my wheels on sliders until May, got frustrated, switched to DD, played the snot out of that offline until December, when I got back into franchise. This time, I decided to go with the Reds and had a ball, got past the trade deadline playing every pitch until 19 dropped (I may still pick it back up if I don't "feel it" with this year's team).

Point is, sometimes we just need that change of pace. If moving away from your Nats is doing it for you, go for it (it can also be a bit more fun because you don't know the team as well, you don't have those loyalties, you are a little less likely to be bogged down by your fandom).
                    I ALWAYS use my Reds.
