Re: This legislation may or may not pass but
I don't think it would get any traction. Just guessing, but I would think all the gaming companies would have to do is copy what EA does with MUT - have an option (button) that shows you the odds/percentage of getting various OVR's in a pack before you buy.

Re: This legislation may or may not pass but
I’m a bit cynical regarding anything Hawley proposes.
I won’t turn this into a left vs. right post because this isn’t really the place, but this reminds me a lot of the representative from North Carolina who submits a Bill every March related to paying college athletes. I don’t think for a second he cares about getting it passed.
It’s more about proposing legislation that gets his name in the media for a thing few want to argue against. “Protect our kids from gambling addictions in predatory vidya games” is a good talking point in rural Missouri just like “the NCAA is corrupt” plays well in Tobacco Road country.
Politicians of all ideological persuasions are sometimes prone to this kind of thing.Comment

your wait times between finding a game would be much much longer because the playerbase is split. If you allow them to match make between the 2 games then whats the point of having 2 different versions of the game?Toronto Blue Jays
Toronto Raptors
Las Vegas Raiders

but then you are separating the player base, why would you do that?

if a parent is adamant about their kids right to game online, let'em buy them the adult online version of the ShowOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23
