This is garbage. Second year in a row.

Who is in charge of the live rosters? This shouldn't happen? They ****ed up the stats last year. Now this? Brett Gardner at SS and Sanchez in RF?

The position players stats seem to be pretty on point. But the pitchers stats are all messed up.

How difficult is it to fix this really? You can update Diamond Dynasty every day but not this?

Can you explain how SDS is at fault for you starting a game with that lineup?

Uhh yea. That's how it loaded with the live rosters. The game had Gary at RF and Gardner at ss. Two positions they never ever play. Ever. So it makes no sense. Yes I can change the lineup.

But doesn't seem to matter. Its all ****ed up because Sanchez is now a RF so now he can't catch properly. They made RF his primary position I assume.

This is a big deal. It's like 2K having Curry at Center or madden having Brady at WR.

      It's just another lazy glitch.

Live Rosters have been busted for years with errors like this. If I'm playing play now (and I do, a lot), I just use the offline SDS rosters that are updated every two weeks or so.

Thank you man. Exactly. But it's lazy. Franchise and Live rosters are what I like to do.

The fact they have this many errors with something so simple is wrong. And there are some terrible bugs. So I'm about to post a video of what I'm talking about. So people fully understand.

It was pretty evident to me he wasn't stating that he set and then rolled this lineup out.

I don’t even bother with the Live Rosters because of all the errors. I think it’s gone this year but in the past you would have legends on some of the live rosters. It’s not that big of a deal to me because I only play franchise mode anyway but it is ridiculous that they can’t get it right. 2K and Madden have had their versions of this for years and I don’t remember either one ever being anywhere near as bad The Show’s.

If they plan to just leave it the way it is, all messed up, why have it in the game at all? Feel like SDS is getting more and more lazy and becoming sloppy with things not connected to DD. Even EA isn’t this bad with their non ultimate team stuff.

Live Rosters remain messed up, the MLB.com news section in the game hasn’t been updated in how long now, the amount of mistakes with the weekly rosters seem to be increasing. Terrible job on guys like Vlad Jr even though it’s supposed to be face scans. Bugs like the ‘pitcher at DH’ one. Just a disappointing level of effort from them.

Re: This is garbage. Second year in a row.

Seeng as though they're the final two position players in the lineup, I would hazard a guess that they don't have Frazier or Thairo Estrada or the active roster....or something to that effect. Thus, they had no choice but to put those guys in where they did or they wouldn't be able to field a lineup at all. I promise you, they didn't build in shortstop abilities for left-handed Brett Gardner. Plus, I'm sure it's an automated process. Who's to say the error isn't on MLB.com?

I wish people wouldn't be so quick to play the game of - "they're lazy"....."they're sloppy"....they show a "disappointing level of effort." They're a small studio handling a GIANT and complex game. Questioning their effort is a slap in the face. It's not as if they have a team of staffers whose sole job is to monitor live rosters.

Just point it out to them and hopefully they can amend it...

If the game is going to have a mode, that mode better work correctly. That’s not a slap at the developers, but the company.

If they won’t support modes, then it’s my choice not to supply the games with my money.

(Play Now live rosters used to work, BTW.)

Yeah, this is the key and it's why I don't go to the level of attacking their effort (despite being disappointed in the end result as a consumer). There's no way someone puts this starting lineup and statistical data in manually before every game, every day - there's an automated process that pulls in all the data, and THAT'S where the problem lies. Although I don't think constantly having such big errors in the lineups in a mode that can be accessed straight from the main menu is a very good look, it's pretty clear that finding some way to correct this is a low priority for the devs.

No. There were other options. Romine, Frazier, and Torres are all available. As you probably know Torres can play short. Romine can play catcher.

I'm irritated because this is the same thing as last year. I love SDS but I'm tired of this kind of stuff.

Diamond Dynasty is updated all the damn time. But the live rosters are messed up. That's inexcusable. It's just not a high priority for them. I guarantee you if online players started seeing that on DD. They'd correct it immediately.

I dont know. To me this is a big deal. I would just use OSFM rosters and be done with it.

But they won't have the real time stats. That's the whole point. Granted they have all pitchers stats messed up anyway and starting pitchers in the bullpen lol.

It's not a good look man. Especially when I get hounded with DD updates all the time. But this mode is half broken.

It is lazy, and false advertising. Been with this company since 06. They aren't the same. And I hate to say it.

Exactly. With this specific issue it’s pretty clear that it’s a matter of effort and how much they care. I have a hard time believing that it’s so complicated and difficult to fix that they can’t figure it out or it’s taking this long to figure out. If they wanted it fixed it would be fixed.

They seem perfectly fine with leaving it how it is. This was a problem last year. No excuse for not fixing it. As you said, if it were a DD problem it would be taken care of immediately. Being a small studio sure doesn’t prevent them from taking care of DD.

And because Gary Sanchez is now a RF lol. He can't play catcher. So it's pretty game breaking.
