    Hypothetical: Pre-Franchise Rebuild mode

I thought of an idea for those who like to rebuild. Basically, before you start your franchise you can choose this "rebuild option" to rebuild a team. You choose how many years you want to skip and then take part in the drafts for those skipped years. (ex. Skip 2 years, take part in 2 drafts and start your season in 2021)
Therefore you can play with the team, in the year you want without having to skip through multiple seasons worth of games and all the injuries, etc.

    Thoughts?

Again, this is just an idea that popped in my head.

I wouldn’t want to do this unless I also had control over trades and free agency, at which point I might as well just sim through those two years in the existing franchise mode.

The only real advantage of this that I could see is playing with GM contracts on but getting a grace period during the rebuild. It’s annoying when you have a team that clearly won’t win as it’s currently constructed but risk getting fired because you don’t win.

I do think you’re on to something. Of course make it immersive like the 2nd post said...also include like a yearly wrap or summary of all the league leaders and playoff teams...but yes thats a strong idea
