It's not poor design. It's mimicking real life roster management....

Yeah it’s frustrating as hell. I want a franchise where i can oversee what the CPU does but it acts on its own, like signing FAs and all.

How exactly is mimicking real life poor design?

It's not, but since you pointed out that it's not a bug I guess there needs to be a new way to complain about it.

Re: CPU Auto-Managing Roster When Starting a New Franchise

It looks like this is the right sub-forum for my question. I'm running in Franchise mode controlling all 30 teams, but everything is set to auto to give CPU control of everything. Now I've reached early June and things have been making sense, with roster moves, injuries, etc., but there have not been any trades. Is there some setting that needs to be adjusted to get CPU to CPU trades going? Or are trades just rare enough at this time of year that the CPU won't make many trades yet? Also, it doesn't look like any serious injuries have occurred, just ones that lead a player to be put on the 10-day IL. Nobody on the 60-day.
