Is there a magic age where players don’t regress or progress?

I like to play single seasons and get my sliders perfect for my players abilities. So, is there an age where players level out? Or does season mode have progression/regression at all? I’ve always wondered this? Thanks 🙏🏻

season mode? from like MLBtS17? dont know.
I wonder if progression/regression neutral age is dependent on potential. sorry, got more questions than answers, myself

If you are referring to season mode from 17, then yes it does have drafting, progression and regression.
