A sincere thank you to OS, and the community

The show is my favorite game, almost every year, especially this iteration. And it's the site, moderators, and most importantly you, my fellow gamers.

When I have a question, or found something cool to share, this is where I go. Not gamefaqs, nor destructiod. Don't get me wrong, I love Dtoid, it's a fantastic site for games that "gamers play".... But Dtoid is more about games like RPGs and the like.

OS.com gives the fan in all of us a chance to exchange ideas, rosters (really well done btw) and info on sport games. Hopefully they know how much we appreciate the site, and for those running it. All sports all the time.

Thank you OS ... Thanks to the Mods, but most importantly, thank you, the fans, who make this site as viable and well rounded. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed, nor is it unappreciated. Thank you... From one humble gamer to the entire group. You guys are Rockstars!!!

OS is the true Show Nation. For years I went to both OS & Sony's Show Nation, in fact, Sony's Show Nation is how I found OS, but after 3 or 4 years it became clear to me I only needed one stop for all my Show needs and that is Operation Sports, the people's Show Nation. Sometimes I forget and think OS is Operation Show lol. baseball is my favourite sport so by extension the Show became my favourite video game, eventually passing EA's NCAA Football series, even long before it went the way of the dodo. Long live OS & the Show, 2 kings in a world of would-be pretenders to the throne.

Stupid Ed O'Bannon ruined NCAA Football. That was always my favorite football game each year. I loved collecting the different trophies for my trophy case (and before that, just playing games like the iron bowl, or the ND/USC rivalry). Even though it came out with Madden innovations the following year, there was SO MUCH to do it was ridiculously fun... I'm still hopeful that one day it'll come back... But it's doubtful.

But I digress... This is definitely the spot for all things The Show (along with most other sports games). But the community on The Show boards are usually fantastic, and the group that 'fixes' the rosters are really phenomenal. They do that for everyone not expecting anything, including a thank you.

Aside from the forums which can actually have rational back and forths about a game, they do stuff like previews/reviews and don't hold anything back. If it sucks, they'll say it. Along with all the articles and information the community on here is the tits.

not to stray off topic but as much as I dislike O'Bannon I blame the court for totally botching the verdict.

On topic, I really dont even look at the other sports forums
just baseball. Its rare to see me in the basketball or football forum. If there were a new college football or basketball video game, I'd probably frequent them way more. as for the Show, I don't know why I like polls so much but I do wish there was a new one every week on the Show forums.
