Correct

There was no tuning to the timing windows/hitting for anything other than Diamond Dynasty. Playing offline franchise, RTTS, etc...the timing windows/hitting is the same as it was prior to the patch.

I had a feeling as soon as I saw "Spring" that there would be multiple intros. Didn't make sense for a season-themed intro to be the only one. Just a matter of when the next one would appear.

Who wants to set their PS4 calendar ahead to fall to see if there's another?

Edit: never mind, actually - the size of this patch makes me think the new one was baked into the download. As will any future one, I imagine.

I mean, it is and it isn't. The computer isn't exactly spamming high sinkers in franchise. That's why it's being done, in online play people discovered you could use sinkers as high fastballs with vicious break and this is a move to try and combat that. If you aren't playing online, I can't imagine it'll have much impact on you at all tbh

Any change they make like that impacts franchise too, even MoM.

Would someone mind posting a screen shot or confirming if the UI Changes affected the "Watch Game" selection. I know they mentioned they made a UI change to the "Hold To Skip"


I am on patch 1.4 and did not want to upgrade and not be able to go back. Those options are a key way I play the game offline.

After playing 2 games in different parks, it sure does seem like the game plays lot smoother. Just feels good now. I don’t recall seeing any lil frame rate hiccups and I’m on the Ps4 Pro.

finally got back home & was able to see the new summer intro, it was great and better than the spring intro. I'm expecting a great fall intro come end of September.

Still cannot add the artificial turd and Wild Card pennant from 2017 at Chase Field? Awesome. How about updating the Chase Field scoreboard? It is the same since 2017....

It would be nice to be able to get the timing down on sunsets at Chase Field too. The sun sets before 7:45 here in late June. In the game, it seems like they have it corrected for daylight savings with sunsets at around 8:45p.

Minor, but annoying since they seem to add art, scoreboard adjustments and pennants in other stadiums.

They also need to fix the citi field seating area behind home plate if is possible been the same since 2009 I mean is no biggie but would love to see it fix .

what a joke! tired of this crap! cant fix a simple thing like injuries in manager mode! what the hell is the purpose of that mode without injuries! im back to 18 at least it plays great and has injuries! as soon as ootp has a little better graphics and there heading in the right direction MLB the show will just be diamond dynasty the show! alright done venting.

Agreed 100%. This has been know now probably since about patch 1.06 and nothing has been done. I think the last time this worked was in 2017.

Man, I really hope they have something special planned for PS5. With the sales of MLB they should be going all out for that system. And they don't have to redevelop large parts of their engine this time unless they want to. 19 is a weak entry in my book. 20 will probably be pretty lame too considering the PS5 will be following later in the year.
