-I try and pay attention to if I keep missing the meter too early or late and try to find a happy balance to get more perfect timing.

-Also, if I’m throwing a low breaking or off-speed, I’ll make sure to miss late so that way it won’t be a cookie right down the pipe.

-Usually in the middle of the glove.

      Re: Meter pitching placement

I don't use the API (the glove, in other words) - I only go by the catcher's hand signals for a general direction, and make my own decisions on exact pitch location. I just feel like on the upper difficulty levels that API tries to be way too aggressive, and the CPU's hitting skill on All-Star and above will usually win out big over that style of pitching.

As for when I stop the meter (or how much effort I put on pitches) - it depends. I take the overall and individual pitch confidence levels into account. Early on in a game I go around halfway into the red but not much higher, but later on if I'm rolling I'll max nearly everything. I don't feel like the stamina penalty for high effort is enough to really discourage me from throwing max effort pitches, and I feel like I'm more likely to get the CPU to swing and miss on a max effort pitch than a minimum effort one.

The accuracy penalty for throwing max effort pitches is very real however, and that's why I tend to pitch really "safe" around the edges of the zone and off of it, and am willing to walk people to avoid serving up a meatball.

Using meter does a change up pitch have a higher or lower speed when thrown at max effort?
In training when you add to the change up speed attribute are you increasing or decreasing the upper speed of the change up?(RTTS)
