    What’s wrong with this game?

I’ve played this game for years and even when I 1st got this years version it was fun.
Now in the last few weeks I can hit and I’m giving up 10+ runs a game no matter what I do. I play on veteran zone hitting and all star meter pitching. I’ve been playing with the sliders. I’m way early on off speed pitches and way late on fastballs. I’ve tried working the count but I pop up or ground into double plays all the time and hardly hit any homeruns. Pitching I’m pitching low in the zone but if I get a ball a little up and I mean just a little I’m giving up homers or doubles left and right. Anyone else having the same problem with the game or is it just me not figuring it out?

Yes, how can I suddenly be so consistently late on 93 mph heaters?

Its hard to say what the issue is really. I struggle with certain pitchers, and dominate with others. In my current franchise, I cant seem to get out of the first inning with Kyle Freeman. Its identical to your struggles, I pound the zone down and get rocked. I turn around the next game with Antonio Senzatela, and dominate. It literally happens each and every time. I would suggest turning on dynamic difficulty, and getting to Veteran+. I hung around in that level of difficulty for about a month, before I raised the sensitivity level to progress to all star. I give up around 2-3 runs a game with certain pitchers, and have shut outs along the way as well.

Try setting difficulty to Dynamic Difficulty and play several games. This will allow you to find your footing in both pitching and hitting.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I know it's not for everyone but I swear by dynamic difficulty. also, spring training games are a great way to get dialed in as much as possible with dynamic if you haven't already found the sweet spot
