Injuries in franchise CPU vs CPU mode in The Show '19?

I haven't seen enough games to know if injuries during non-simulated games that are played out are happening in '19. Has anyone seen any injuries? If not, do you expect a patch to fix the problem soon.

The CPU does encounter injuries. In manage mode, the user team will not ever get an injury.

For CPU v CPU I don't know if any in game injuries happen, but simmed games will encounter injuries.

In manage mode there are no injures in the games you play. The games you don't play are all simmed and there are injuries in those games. Big advantage to user controlled team because he never has injuries but the cpu does.

Pretty sure mlbts 18 was the first year this happened. Prior to that there were injuries.

So if all 30 teams are assigned to the CPU and the games are played out in their entirety and not simmed, there should eventually be injuries?

Injuries only occur in simmed games.

Are you selecting PLAY GAME or are you going to MANAGE ONLY MODE when playing out these games?

If you are selecting the PLAY GAME option and are moving the controllers to the center so that the CPU is playing out the game, I am thinking you should see injuries. If you are playing the games in MANAGE ONLY MODE then you will not see injuries right now because there is an unfortunate bug in MoM that turns off injuries.

If you are selecting the PLAY GAME option and are moving the controllers to the center so that the CPU is playing out the game, I am thinking you should see injuries. If you are playing the games in MANAGE ONLY MODE then you will not see injuries right now because there is an unfortunate bug in MoM that turns off injuries.

I move the controllers to the middle and let the CPU play the entire game. The CPU is also in charge of all roster moves, lineup changes, trades, signings, cuts, etc. I bought the game late after waiting on the patches and roster downloads to release. I've been watching several games in this manner to adjust sliders. I've seen pitchers get hit by line drives, get shaken up, but they always stay in the game. I haven't seen any other injuries resulting in missed playing time. Do you have any thoughts on what may be wrong? I have injuries set to "on" injury frequency set at "8".

As for pitchers they don't always leave when they get hit, in fact its rare. The game used to have an issue with too many balls being hit back up the middle that hit the pitcher, so the devs put in a minimum off the bat speed to potentially trigger pitchers getting injured, so that pitchers weren't leaving the game like a carousel.

I gave up on my MoM (manage mode) series because of no injuries. I've got two play franchises going. I'll be happy playing them till (if ever) they turn injuries back on

Worst case would to be play as your ace then sim through the rotation play as the second pitcher etc etc.
