    MLB 19 Walkoffs

I was thinking this could be another fun thread that the community could be involved in. Just trying to shake up from the "more serious" threads that we have in the forum these days.

Share your walkoff wins here (good or bad)

Here is Jo Adell walking off the Brewers in my most recent game.

Just had a first for me. Tied 5-5 in the bottom of the 9th against the Cardinals (I’m the Reds). Led off with a double with Suarez. Puig struck out, Gennett was intentionally walked. Then Senzel drew a walk to load the bases with 1 out. I then popped out to first with Jose Iglesias only to end the game with a walk off bases loaded walk with Tucker Barnhart haha.

        Re: MLB 19 Walkoffs

I didn't save the video, but I just lost a game to the Brewers on a walkoff double by Byron Buxton.

After we tied the game at 3 in the 8th inning, we couldn't score in the top of the 9th and Hicks was working his second inning. He strikes out the first batter, but Keston Hiura singles to left. Next up Buxton hits a liner to right that I thought I had tracked correctly, but I didn't so I tried diving (stupid decision) to make the catch and missed and the ball rolled all the way to the wall and Hiura scored the game winning run.

        So frustrating...

Don't have a video or picture, but last night was playing a game with a fantasy draft team and was losing 1-0 going into the 9th inning.

Aaron Nola was pitching for Detroit and throwing a gem. Nola had only given up one hit prior to the 9th inning.

Im using the Yankees. I have 8th and 9th place batters coming up to start the 9th. Eduardo Escobar is filling in for Pete Alonso in this game and come through with a single. Next batter is Fernando Tatis Jr. who sends one down the line 387 feet for the game winning homerun.

No video but I was in my 2026 Indians up a 5-3 lead on the A's in the 7th. Pulled starter in the 7th and my reliever gave up a 3 run home run. Bottom of the 8th I tie it up on a single up the middle. Same reliever from the 7th holds off Oakland in the top of the 8th and 9th. First batter in the bottom of the 9th, Francisco Lindor gets a lead off walk. I pinch run with my starting CF Scott Lindsey who had the day off. Next batter, Aaron Judge who already has 2 home runs and 4 RBIs in the game gets hit on the first pitch. Now runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs. Next up is Nolan Jones. On a 2-1 count, he hits a single to left and pinch runner Lindsey scores just before the throw.

Indians win! First walk off of the season 42 games into the year.

MLB The Show 16 Conquest mode worst walk-off loss of all time https://youtu.be/N_EK7kv8VyA

I still consider this to be my saddest loss ever. 12th inning scores tied at 0 conquest game and this is how it ends? It can’t!

Dan Volgelbach with a walk-off HR. The ball arched so high I just knew they would get to it on the warning track. I think this was his second or third walk off of the season. The win gives me a better chance of playing at home in the wild-card game. IRL there isn't much to home field advantage in wild card games, let's hope it's not the case in The Show universe.

I lost on a walk off hit............by pitch. That's right.

With the game tied at 1 and one out in the bottom of the 9th, I purposely walked the bases loaded against the Astros. I walked Altuve after Cameron doubled to put men on 2nd and 3rd with one out. I intentionally walk Altuve to set up the double play and force out at home and bring up Tony Kemp. Roberto Osuna is on the hill. On a 2-2 pitch, I want to put a fastball up and in on his hands to get a swing thru or hopefully at worst a popup because hit just hit solid foul balls on two pitches down in the zone. The pitch gets away, hits Kemp in the forearm, and the Astros win the game 2-1.

I just sit in my chair in disbelief.

Not a home run and it was a pretty big risk sending the runner from third...but it worked! And it was I believe the first post season win in 2023 which we ended up winning our second world series in a row.

In mid May in my Phillies Franchise. 3 game set with the Royals in Kansas City. Had lost 2 in a row coming into the second game of the series. I was down 5-2 in the 9th inning. I got the first two batters of the inning on base and then made 2 straight outs. Up steps Bryce Harper who crushes a game-tying 3-run homer. Head to the bottom of the 9th and end up getting an out, followed by a walk. Bring in lefty Adam Morgan to face lefty Ryan O'Hearn (who was already 3 for 4 by the way). I hung a changeup and he crushed it for a 2-run walk-off home run to win it 7-5. That one hurt.
