Base running !
I’ve been playing 10 games into my franchise and it has cost me about 6 games. Reason why base runners after a hit dive back to the base for no reason ! Is this a glitch that had to be fixed ? What’s going on ! I don’t remember seeing this in previous yearsTags: None -
Re: Base running !
I have had the same problem and it is very frustrating. What I try to do is after a hit be ready to hit L1 right away is the runners dive back or stop in the basepaths. Of course it is not as good as if the runners automatically advanced correctly.

Re: Base running !
Yep can’t believe that more people haven’t been complaining about this all year , also runners at 2nd almost always hold at 3rd base on a single rarely challenging a throw from the outfield and my personal favorite , singles on a hit off the wall 😓Comment

Re: Base running !
I agree that sometimes there are inexplicable errors happening. Yesterday I had a case where I hit a single to the outfield which was not at all a close call to be caught in air but the runner on first just froze and didn‘t move at all until he was thrown out at 2nd.

Re: Base running !
That is why you have to be alert and hit advance all runner L1 to get him moving as soon as you realize he froze. This does not makeup, of course, for when the batter jumps back to 1B on a hit.
