Each time I see a new patch about to released, I'm just further let down that legacy issues still aren't getting any attention. Gameplay is top notch but all the other things are killing it for me...especially bullpen logic

You can stay well rested because MoM issues aren't getting fixed no matter how many patches they release this year.



You might want to look into OOTP. For managing it's by far the superior game.

OOTP is an amazing game. I bought OOTP19 and didn’t get 20 because it’s not much of an upgrade.

Post patch I have played 4 innings thus far at Philly stadium before having to stop for the night. There were 3 errors...2 by RF and 1 by catcher, but only 1 of the 3 errors recorded. The unrecorded error by catcher allowed the run to score but run charged to pitcher.

In the same 4 innings, 1B decided to go for double play at 2nd and clearly beat the runner at 2nd and did not throw out batter at 1st. Scored a base hit. While IRL the ump might miss the call, the scoring I think is wrong.

Batter is only charged an FC if a forceout is made. Since the runner was safe at 2nd, that is correctly ruled a hit.

That's not actually true.

Rule 9.05a(6) regarding awarding a base hit:

a fielder unsuccessfully attempts to put out a preceding runner and, in the Official Scorer’s judgment, the batter-runner would not have been put out at first base by ordinary effort.

Rule 9.05b(4) defining what is not a base hit:

fielder fails in an attempt to put out a preceding runner and, in the scorer’s judgment, the batter-runner could have been put out at first base;

tldr: It's a judgment call, and whether it's a hit or FC is determined by whether the official scorer thinks the batter would have been out had the play been attempted at first.

Hopefully the Base running is fixed where Base runners dove back to the bases after a hit! This must get fixed !

I have not played in a while. Have they done anything to address the baserunners trying to advance on wild pitches and/or passed balls even if they don't land far from catcher? Seems they always take off...
