MLB 20 what to expect with mlb 21 being on ps5?

So with mlb 20 being the last mlb game most likely before ps5 comes out has ps5 is most likely going to be late 2020 meaning mlb 21 being on ps5 what can we expect mlb 20 on ps4 to be like? This whole gen graphics have been a big disappointment has last gen mlb had the best graphics of any sports game. Were this gen both nba 2k and nba live have better graphics by far and I would say madden looks slightly better. Also bullpen logic has been a issue sense like at least mlb 08 on ps3 and has not gotten better. Franchise mode also needs to be improved.

If it isn't obvious most sports video games don't care about offline play anymore, it's hot garbage but because people seem to blow more than an extra 10-20 bucks after purchasing the game for some Diamond Dynasty type modes. Franchise mode has actually been scaled back from MLB 2011 when they had somewhat in depth features like how much you wanted to charge for ticket prices and such.

I'd kill to have actual minor leaguers likeness in the game instead of the default auto generated players they throw out every year and then get rid of real players in roster updates in favor of keeping the fictional players. At least they're updating the likenesses this year with Rookies but most gaming sports franchises do that quite often.

In general graphics will continue to gradually improve but the days of huge leaps with new console generations are probably done. All the tech to make photo realistic graphics is out there the limitations come from having to keep the price of a console reasonable.

As for MLB games they could definitely be better especially when it comes to hair. Most of the faces are decent enough except Heidi Watney her face scan is terrible. The stadiums look good the grass could use some work.

Both NBA 2k and live had huge leaps from ps3 to ps4 mlb didn't.

I think you can expect rosters to increase to full high single a and low single a for 125 man rosters. maybe even 15 man rookie league like single a is currently. and I bet osfm (or whatever the kids are calling it these days) roster makers are wishing this doesn't happen lol
